Phillip is an Associate in our Corporate Team based in our Norwich office.
Having qualified as a Planning Law Solicitor in June 2016 at Norfolk County Council, Phillip later joined a regional firm in Norwich as a Corporate and Commercial Law solicitor and brought with him a well-rounded breadth of legal experience in both the public and private sector. Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor, Phillip worked as a Clinical Trials insurance broker for an international insurance company, advising high-profile pharmaceutical clients on legal aspects of their insurance policies.
Phillip deals with a wide range of corporate matters, mainly acting for SMEs and smaller family-owned businesses. He advises on all manner of corporate transactions including high and low value acquisitions and disposals (including MBO’s), corporate funding, investments and corporate governance. Phillip also advises on general corporate matters including shareholders’ agreements, partnerships, director duties and company incorporation. Phillip is part of the firm’s Family Business Team and is well-versed in providing an efficient service for clients in smaller M&A transactions (£1m or under) and is also part the firm’s Small Deals Team.
Phillip is an approachable individual with great attention to detail and prides himself on delivering a professional and friendly service to his clients with their commercial objectives firmly in focus.
Phillip graduated from De Montfort University in July 2008 with a 2:1 degree in Law. He went on to achieve a commendation in the Legal Practice Course (LPC) from Anglia Ruskin University in June 2010.
In his spare time, Phillip enjoys travelling, theatre, art, dining and socialising with friends and family.
