Birketts has advised the shareholders of Coda Plastics Ltd and its parent company, Campbell & Tate Ltd, on the sale of the business to the Newship Group.
Founded in 1973, Coda Plastics has grown into a leading UK manufacturer of plastic packaging solutions, serving a wide range of industries including food and drink, household, and healthcare.
The sale marks a significant milestone for the Tate and Campbell families, who have overseen the company’s development and expansion over several decades.
The Birketts team was led by Ed Savory (Partner, Corporate), supported by Macauley Alsford White, Lucy Sao and Katherine Barnes (Corporate), Andrew Ridout and Andrea Baillis (Property), Ryan Smith and Robbie Watson (Tax), and Jonny Shuster (Employment).
