Top 100 law firm, Birketts, has announced the appointment of Daniel Irving as a Senior Associate and Barrister in its highly regarded Regulatory and Corporate Defence team.
Daniel was formerly a member at Blackfriars Chambers, London, and with over ten years’ experience at the Bar, is well placed to offer advice and representation in all areas of corporate and regulatory crime, and in relation to Public Inquiries. He has conducted trials in the Crown and Magistrates Courts and has advised on, and drafted responses to, Public Inquiries, including the Iraq Inquiry and the Undercover Policing Inquiry.
Daniel has also previously advised the Government in relation to national security related civil litigation and provided his expertise on data protection obligations.

Daniel is based in Birketts’ Ipswich office, but will support colleagues across all four offices in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Norwich.
