Harry Close

Harry joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in 2021 and qualified into our Corporate Team in September 2023. He is based in our Norwich office. During Harry’s training, he sat with the Commercial Property Team, Real Estate Investment Team, Employment Team and Corporate Team in both the Norwich and Ipswich office.
Harry assists the team on a range of corporate matters, including disposals and acquisitions, group re-organisations, fundraising rounds and general company law matters.
Prior to joining Birketts, Harry studied Law with European Legal Systems at the University of East Anglia where he graduated with a First Class Degree. This included studying abroad at the University of Lucerne in Switzerland for a year. Harry completed the Legal Practice Course with the University of Law in Norwich, achieving a distinction classification.
Outside of work, Harry enjoys watching and playing all sports (particularly football, where he is a keen supporter of Fulham FC) and enjoys baking bread in his spare time.
