13 May 2024 – Birketts’ Corporate Team has advised AST Networks on its acquisition of Bristol-based Reygar Ltd.
AST Networks is a leading provider of land and maritime communication technology and remote connectivity solutions. With operations around the globe, AST Networks is an independent full-service communications integrator. The acquisition of Reygar Ltd underscores AST Networks’ dedication to driving innovation and excellence in the maritime market.
Reygar Ltd is an award-winning provider or fully integrated performance monitoring and control solutions for crewed and uncrewed vessels. Reygar has developed BareFLEET, a market-leading platform for remote monitoring of workboat fleets including tugs, crew transfer vessels, pilot boats and fast ferries. With the ability to gather comprehensive vessel data from a wide range of onboard equipment the system provides concise analysis which allows fleet owners to improve many commercial aspects of fleet operation driving efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and ensuring safety and crew welfare.
