1 December 2020
Birketts has announced the appointment of ten new Partners. Those promoted represent the firm’s full service offering and bring the total number of Partners in the firm to 81.
Commercial Property law specialists Claudia Haisman-Green, Dwight Patten and Keith Andrews have been promoted, with charity expert Liz Brownsell and litigator Sara Sayer also recognised.
Additionally, employment law experts Clare Barlow and Sonya O’Reilly have also been appointed as Partners, along with wills and trust specialist Rachel Winter from the Private Client Advisory Team. Finally, Ruth Neave from the Public Sector Team and Josh Ripman from the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team were also promoted.
Jonathan Agar, Chief Executive Officer for Birketts, commented: “After a challenging year I am delighted to announce this round of Partner promotions who are drawn from right across our full legal service offering. These appointments highlight the firm’s commitment to supporting internal talent and rewarding those who are playing a key part in helping Birketts to achieve the title of standout regional firm in the UK for client experience.”
Jonathan continued: “These are exciting times for our colleagues to join the Partnership. In May this year we completed our merger with boutique legal insurance practice EC3 Legal, securing a London presence and expanding our expertise further. Meanwhile, the firm continues to make strides in agile and flexible working, placing technology at the heart of what we do and, having adapted quickly to the circumstances presented by the pandemic, the outlook for Birketts looks positive with lots of opportunities to build on.
