Birketts advises on sale of Ocean Shipbrokers Limited

Birketts has advised the shareholders of Ocean Shipbrokers Limited (Ocean Shipbrokers) on the sale of the entire issued share capital to Fearnleys Shipbrokers UK Ltd (Fearnleys).
Ocean Shipbrokers has gained a global presence in the shipbroking industry since being formed in June 2006. With its head office in London, it specialises in a number of sectors including ship chartering, ship sale and purchase and demolition of vessels.
The shareholders remain a part of the business and continue to bring their passion and expertise to the market, working collaboratively to provide shipping services with the support of Fearnleys.
The Birketts team was led by Seamus Clifford (Partner, Corporate) and assisted by Grace Shek (Associate, Corporate), Will May (Solicitor, Corporate), Abbie Head (Trainee Solicitor, Corporate), Jonathan Insley (Senior Associate, Employment), Abigail Hubert (Associate, Employment) and Robbie Watson (Associate, Corporate Tax).
