Roopa joined Birketts in September 2014 having previously worked in North London and the Northern Home Counties for large regional practices since she qualified in August 2001. Roopa is a Senior Associate, Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer in our Family Law Team. Roopa is based in our Cambridge office.

Roopa’s practice involves all aspects of family law advice and deals in particular with divorce advice, financial remedies, separation advice/deeds, dissolution of civil partnerships, children arrangements, pre-nuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation disputes and living together agreements. Roopa has experience of high net worth divorce and finance cases, often with an international element. Equally, having been accredited to the Law Society’s Children panel in the past, Roopa is accomplished in dealing with complex Children Act matters.

Roopa receives a number of referrals from London and the home counties. She is flexible in arranging client meetings at mutually convenient locations.
